CCTV policy

The Schools of Otamatea Network Group has installed CCTV in school buses to improve the safety of our school bus services and help resolve complaints.

Cameras are installed in Leabourn's school vehicles. These vehicles may be moved between routes as required. All buses fitted with CCTV display signage indicating that the bus is being monitored.

The systems record both audio and video. Audio data is especially useful in resolving complaints. CCTV footage is held securely and is only accessed when needed to investigate an incident or complaint.
